Nestled in the rolling hills of Cornwall, this charming venue offers a picturesque backdrop for any celebration, but there’s something truly magical about a summer wedding here.

Trevenna Barns is an exclusive-use wedding venue set in 142 acres of stunning Cornish countryside. This beautifully restored cluster of barns provides an idyllic setting for couples looking to celebrate their special day surrounded by nature. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring that every wedding can be tailored to the couple’s vision. With on-site accommodation for up to 40 guests, Trevenna Barns makes it easy for loved ones to gather and enjoy the festivities together.
An Enchanting Outdoor Ceremony
Ollie & Lauren are clearly made for each other, even if it took them a while to realise it themselves. Friends for a long time at university, it seems their friends all knew it before they did. For Lauren & Ollie it was really special to have 40 of their closest friends and family be able to stay over with them and celebrate over a couple of days as they don’t get to see everyone often now they live in different places. As nature lovers the beautiful outdoor space was perfect for exchanging vows surrounded by rolling hills and epic views.

One of the highlights of photographing weddings at Trevenna Barns is the natural beauty that surrounds the venue. After the ceremony, we explored the grounds and fields for a private photo session with the newlyweds.Β
Dodging Rain Showers and Embracing Creativity
As is often the case with British weather, we had to dodge a few rain showers throughout the day. However, as a creative wedding photographer, Iβm always prepared to work in any weather condition. We made the most of the rain showers to create some epic photographs, even if we got a bit wet at the end of the night. One of my favorite shots was of the newlyweds dancing in the rain, their joy and love shining through despite the weather.
