A Celebration of Love and Seasonal Beauty – Nina & Dylan

There’s something truly magical about an autumn wedding in Cornwall, and Trenderway Farm provided the perfect setting for this cosy October celebration. With the golden hues of the season, crisp air, and an abundance of rustic charm, Nina and Dylan’s wedding was a dream to capture.

A Rustic Gem in the Cornish Countryside

Nestled in the rolling hills of South East Cornwall, Trenderway Farm is a working farm turned wedding venue, offering a perfect blend of rural charm and modern comfort. With its historic barns, stunning countryside views, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s an ideal choice for couples looking for a relaxed and intimate setting. The restored barns create a warm and inviting space, particularly in the cooler months, where candlelight and fairy lights add an extra layer of cosiness.

Embracing the Autumnal Vibes

Nina and Dylan fully embraced autumn, incorporating rich colours, natural textures, and festive details throughout the day. Pumpkins and gourds could be found all around the venue, adding a whimsical touch to the day. Adding to the bohemian charm, Nina and her bridesmaids wore delicate dried flower crowns, enhancing the natural and romantic feel of the day.

A Dress Made for Nina

Nina’s wedding dress was truly one of a kind. She found it in a charity shop and had it beautifully adapted by the amazing seamstress Kirsty Oriel, who added intricate little flower details that tied in beautifully with the autumnal theme. Every element of her dress felt personal and unique, adding to the magic of the day.

A Special Four-Legged Guest

No autumn wedding at Trenderway Farm would be complete without a beloved pet, and Nina and Dylan’s dog played an important role in their day. Hiring a dog nanny for the day meant that Albie was well looked after and could be there for some special photos. Having their dog there made the day even more personal and heartwarming, capturing the essence of their little family.

Colourful & Mismatched Bridesmaids’ Dresses

One of my favourite details from this wedding was the bridesmaids’ outfits – a perfect example of how mismatched dresses can look effortlessly stylish. Each bridesmaid wore a dress in a different autumnal shade – reds, greens and blues that together created a stunning, earthy palette that complemented the season beautifully. The effect was vibrant, warm, and full of personality – a wonderful alternative to traditional uniform bridesmaid dresses.

A Cosy Celebration with Rustic Touches

The reception took place in Trenderway’s gorgeous barn, where the rustic beams were adorned with fairy lights, dried flowers, and foliage. Long wooden tables were decorated with handmade centrepieces featuring mini pumpkins, candles, and seasonal flowers. The food was another highlight, with a vegan menu inspired by hearty autumn flavours.

A Magical First Dance

One of the most unforgettable moments of the evening was Nina and Dylan’s first dance. As they swayed together under the warm glow of fairy lights, a surprise confetti cannon filled the air with a shower of autumn-coloured petals, creating a breathtaking scene. It was a perfect way to kick off the evening celebrations, adding an extra touch of magic to their special day.

Capturing the Magic
