Good friends of mine are involved in setting up a very exciting project in Cardiff and asked me to take some photos for their website and promotional material. The Sustainable Studio is an innovative new project being set up by sisters Julia Harris & Sarah Valentin. The pair have been involved in creative projects, running courses and community workshops for several years and needed to move into a bigger space to fit their ever growing vision.

They found an amazing industrial warehouse space in the heart of Cardiff that fit their needs perfectly. I was privileged to see the before and after transformation, and the place is unrecognisable. Using their love of all things recycled and their creative ideas and vision, they have created a very homely and inspiring co-working space. I especially loved the use of recycled pallets to create separate pods for other creatives to work in.

I am excited to see all that will unfold in this space. I’m sure this will be a space that many creative people will be drawn to and a place where new creative connections and collaborations will be made.
