Many of my couples come to me saying that they are camera shy or nervous of having photographs taken. Don’t worry, you are not alone! I totally get it, like you, I am not a big fan of being in front of the camera and hate the idea of posing.
I work in a natural, relaxed way that helps you just be yourselves. An engagement shoot is a great way to have a trial run. Get to know each other and see if we are a good fit and see what kind of shots I take.

Digging through the archives I rediscovered this romantic beach engagement shoot that I never got round to blogging. Living in Cornwall we are so fortunate to be surrounded by incredible beaches.Β The beach has always been my happy place and I must confess I visit the beach several times a week if I can. The wide open expanse of sea and sky helps soothe and inspire me, and so I am always delighted when I can shoot couples in love on a gorgeous beach in gorgeous evening light!
Jess & Antonio were a dream to work with, so easy and natural with each other they made my job easy! Engagement shoots are a great practice run for the big day. We have a chance to get to know each other and you can see first hand how I work. We normally go for a walk as movement always helps people relax and I will give some gentle directions and suggestions for shots. Normally you will end up laughing at me as I will say or do something silly and I have a few tricks up my sleeve for helping you relax and have fun.
All of my full day wedding packages include an engagement shoot.
