I loved being part of Kris and Claire’s wedding day recently. They chose the 4th July to get married as the date was special to them and in my mind this wedding will always be known as Interdependence Day! The sun shone beautifully for their special day and the village hall in Timsbury looked perfect with it’s bunting and vintage style decorations.
Claire looked amazing in her Monsoon dress and the lads all looked the part with their matching shades. Of all the weddings I have shot, this one wins the prize for most groomsmen, or as they were called in this wedding; the First XV. There was a lovely relaxed feel to this wedding, with an onsite bar and cricket game to watch for those wanting to enjoy the country air. There was a real sense of community as lots of their friends were helping make the day happen. The country fete theme was complete with afternoon tea from vintage tea sets, followed by the speeches and a quiz.
The evening held one of the best surprises as the First XV surprised the bride after the first dance with a flash mob style dance to One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.” This was a wedding full of fun and laughter and it was a pleasure to be involved.
Kris and Claire make a lovely couple and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
Here are some of the highlights from the day, enjoy! Wedding guests can view all the images and order photographs by viewing the whole album in the Client Gallery
Fantastic, superb, excellent! All the cliches you can think of and some! And on this occasion these photographs are fitting to them. They actually are a reflection of the day. Top job Hannah!
