City Hall register office; Charlie & Gary’s Christmas wedding

This Cardiff wedding was a very special one to be a part of. Charlie and Gary decided to keep the wedding to just a couple of good friends and planned to have a family party the next day to reveal their big surprise. The bride and groom stayed at The Hilton hotel and enjoyed a drink with their friends in the hotel bar before walking over to the Cardiff register office.

Some of my favourite shots of the rings and flowers were taken in the hotel bar using the Christmas lights to create a beautiful seasonal backdrop. We also took the opportunity to take a few photos by the hotel’s enormous Christmas tree. Charlie & Gary didn’t want a lot of posed photographs and just wanted a natural record of the day, candid shots are always my favourites and I loved some of the natural moments from this intimate wedding.
