Spring is the perfect time for family portrait shoots with all the beautiful flowers and colours everywhere. This shoot was literally a blast, as I think we must have picked one of the windiest days to have our shoot. We had great fun exploring the beautiful grounds at Ashton Court and playing about in the flowers and grass. Ewan was happiest exploring the dirt and playing in the flowers. I love this kind of candid photography, no posing, just natural, fun, real moments of love between this sweet family.

I love the contrast of Ewan’s red hair against the lush spring green grass. Ewan is such a sweet, happy boy and it shows in the photographs. I loved the intimate moments between him and his parents and loved seeing the way they interact together as a family. Scott & Karin are getting married this summer and I wish them all the best and am sure that Ewan will make an adorable page boy.
