Hi! I’m Hannah, a Cornwall wedding photographer that loves telling stories in my own romantic, emotive and natural way.
I don’t believe in posing but watch for natural, real moments of connection. Many of my reviews comment on my ability to put even the most camera shy people at ease and get the best out of them.Β
I would describe my style as colourful, emotive and fun. I am primarily a documentary photographer working away quietly in the background telling the story of your day with a fine art edge. I love to create beautiful photographs that will evoke memory and feeling and can be framed art pieces in your home.Β
I’m excited to share my best of Cornwall wedding photography round up for 2023. This was one of my busiest years to date and I absolutely LOVED photographing so many beautiful and unique weddings and elopements all over Cornwall and the South West.
This year I was delighted to be named one of the three best rated photographers in Cornwall and was a finalist for the South West Wedding Awards for the second year in a row. These awards are based on customer reviews and feedback so it was particularly exciting to be recognised in this way as I always strive to give 110% to my clients.

Camera Shy Couples
Welcome to the camera shy! 99% of my clients say they donβt like being photographed – and I understand this completely! This is where finding a photographer you connect with and who specialises in a natural style of photography is so important. I always go to great lengths to make my couples feel relaxed and at ease β I am usually chatting away, providing only the occasional prompt of what to do, perhaps finding something to make you laugh, but the idea is to distract you from the camera and any feelings of self-consciousness. All you need to do is be yourselves, and a great photographer will do the rest!Β

One of the things I love most about this job is seeing how everyone celebrates their love in different ways. I have shot all kinds of celebrations this year, some very small elopements with just the couple, some huge weddings with hundreds of guests, all vibrant, colourful and full of life. I love it when couples do things their way and are creative and fun in their approach to celebrating.

My favourite part of the wedding day is when we get to take some time out for some couples photographs. This doesn’t have to be long, sometimes it’s just two 10 minutes slots – getting out in nature where possible and simply let them be themselves. Being outdoors has such a relaxing effect on people that they often forget they are being photographed – it definitely leads to far more natural, and successful, photographs. I always jump at the chance to photograph at the beach, in a forest, corn field, whatever is available to us! I love to incorporate nature into all my shoots where possible. My favourite kind of bride is one that is happy to don the welly boots and doesn’t mind a bit of mud on her dress.Β
Coastal weddings
I love photographing in Cornwall and Devon especially as there are so many awesome coastal wedding venues. The beach has always been my happy place so I’m delighted whenever I get to photograph a couple by the sea.
