As a Cornwall wedding photographer, I am especially fond of coastal wedding venues. Maddie & Andy’s wedding at the Land’s End Hotel was no exception. Perched on the rugged cliffs at the very edge of England, the venue provided a truly spectacular backdrop for their special day.

A Venue with Unmatched Views

The Land’s End Hotel is a dream venue for couples looking to embrace Cornwall’s dramatic coastline. With panoramic sea views stretching endlessly into the horizon, it offers a sense of adventure and romance that’s hard to beat. On Maddie & Andy’s wedding day, the October air was crisp, but the sun shone brightly, casting a golden glow over the cliffs.

A Love Story Rooted in Cornwall

For Maddie & Andy, this location held deep significance. They first met just a few miles away at the iconic Minack Theatre, a breathtaking open-air theatre carved into the cliffs. Both passionate about the performing arts, they were cast in the same production and quickly formed a bond that blossomed into something truly special. Choosing Land’s End for their wedding felt like coming full circleβ€”a celebration of their love in the landscape where it all began.

A Day Filled with Emotion and Beauty

The ceremony took place in the hotel’s elegant event space, where large windows framed the ever-changing seascape outside.Β After heartfelt vows and joyful applause, we stepped outside for some portraits and group shots. I loved the ribbon exit and the blue and white colour themes were perfect for the coastal location.Β

A Celebration to Remember

The reception was a warm and joyful affair, complete with a quiz about the newlyweds from the father of the bride which inspired much laughter. After the guests had enjoyed a delicious feast, the sun started to set over the water and everyone headed out to soak in the glorious sunset and magic of the moment. As night fell, it was soon time to get the party started with some epic moves on the dance floor. I love to capture a busy dance floor as people let loose and show off their best moves – it always makes for some memorable photos!

A Perfect Ending

Maddie & Andy’s wedding at the Land’s End Hotel was a true reflection of their loveβ€”deeply personal, full of laughter, and set against one of Cornwall’s most breathtaking landscapes. It was an honour to capture their story, and I loved being at this iconic coastal venue.Β
